Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) governs how you may access and use the De-Cypher website, applications, software, artificial-intelligence features, conversation-analysis tools, dashboards, Teams features, APIs, and related products and services (collectively, the “Service”). This Policy supplements and is incorporated into the De-Cypher Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined in this Policy have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service. If this Policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control. You are responsible for your use of the Service, all activity conducted through your account, and ensuring that your use complies with applicable law, the rights of others, and this Policy.

Effective September 30, 2026

  1. 01

    Lawful use

    You may use De-Cypher only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner.

    You may not use the Service to:

    • violate any applicable law, regulation, court order, or legally binding obligation;
    • encourage, facilitate, or assist another person in unlawful conduct;
    • violate another person’s privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, intellectual-property, or other legal rights;
    • circumvent legal restrictions that apply to the recording, monitoring, transcription, processing, or analysis of communications; or
    • use De-Cypher in a manner that creates an unlawful or unauthorized surveillance system.
  2. 02

    Recording, transcription, monitoring, and consent

    De-Cypher can receive, transmit, transcribe, analyze, and otherwise process human communications. Laws governing recording, interception, monitoring, transcription, and analysis differ by jurisdiction, and some jurisdictions require the consent of every participant.

    Before using De-Cypher with another person’s communications, you are responsible for ensuring that:

    • you have lawful authority to capture, transmit, record, transcribe, monitor, or analyze the communication;
    • you have provided every notice required by applicable law;
    • you have obtained the prior consent of every participant whenever such consent is required;
    • the consent obtained is valid for the manner in which De-Cypher will process the communication; and
    • your use of the communication does not violate the rights of any participant or third party.

    WHERE APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES ALL-PARTY CONSENT, YOU MUST OBTAIN THE CONSENT OF ALL PARTICIPANTS BEFORE ACTIVATING DE-CYPHER.

    If a participant refuses or withdraws consent, you must discontinue the applicable recording, transcription, monitoring, or analysis unless continued use is otherwise clearly lawful.

    You may not use De-Cypher for covert or unlawful surveillance.

  3. 03

    Harassment, abuse, exploitation, and discrimination

    You may not use De-Cypher to harm, exploit, or unlawfully target another person.

    Prohibited conduct includes using the Service to:

    • stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, coerce, exploit, or abuse another person;
    • facilitate unlawful discrimination against an individual or protected class;
    • obtain sensitive or confidential information through unlawful pressure, deception, or unauthorized monitoring;
    • create or support patterns of unwanted surveillance, tracking, or monitoring; or
    • assist another person in engaging in conduct prohibited by this section.
  4. 04

    Misuse of AI analysis and outputs

    De-Cypher outputs are probabilistic analytical signals and may be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading. De-Cypher does not know whether a person is telling the truth and does not determine truth, deception, honesty, credibility, intent, motive, guilt, psychological condition, mental-health status, future behavior, dangerousness, criminal activity, legal liability, medical conditions, or other internal mental or emotional states.

    You may not:

    • represent a De-Cypher score, indicator, inference, suggestion, transcript, or other output as an objective or scientifically conclusive determination about a person;
    • represent De-Cypher as a lie detector or as a system that determines truth, guilt, intent, credibility, or dangerousness;
    • knowingly remove material context in order to mischaracterize a De-Cypher output;
    • fabricate, alter, manipulate, or falsify De-Cypher outputs or reports in order to mislead another person; or
    • use an output in a manner that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.

    Users must apply independent human judgment when interpreting and acting upon De-Cypher outputs.

  5. 05

    High-impact and significant decisions

    De-Cypher may be used as one source of information for communication improvement, coaching, training, quality assurance, operational oversight, and similar lawful purposes.

    However, you may not use De-Cypher analysis as the sole or determinative basis for decisions concerning:

    • hiring, termination, disciplinary action, promotion, or compensation;
    • credit, lending, housing, or insurance;
    • healthcare or medical treatment;
    • educational admission or access;
    • criminal investigation, guilt, or legal responsibility; or
    • another decision producing significant legal or similarly significant effects concerning an individual.

    Material decisions concerning individuals should involve appropriate human review and independent supporting information.

  6. 06

    Sensitive, confidential, and regulated information

    Conversations processed through De-Cypher may contain private, confidential, commercially sensitive, privileged, medical, financial, employment-related, or otherwise sensitive information.

    You may not submit, collect, or process sensitive information through De-Cypher unless doing so is lawful, necessary for your permitted use, and consistent with the rights and expectations of the people involved.

    Unless Negative Mass LLC has entered into a separate written agreement expressly providing otherwise, you must not assume that use of the Service satisfies industry-specific obligations applicable to regulated data or professional environments.

    Where use of protected health information requires a Business Associate Agreement, or another regulated environment requires a separate agreement or configuration, you may not rely on ordinary De-Cypher access as establishing that compliance.

  7. 07

    Biometric identification

    De-Cypher is not intended to function as a biometric identification or authentication system. Speech processing, speaker differentiation, diarization, and conversational analysis are not biometric identity verification.

    You may not use the Service to:

    • create biometric identification or authentication systems;
    • identify or authenticate individuals through biometric characteristics;
    • build biometric databases or biometric profiles for identification purposes; or
    • engage in biometric processing prohibited by applicable law.

    Any De-Cypher feature that expressly involves biometric information will be subject to additional disclosures, consents, policies, or agreements where required.

  8. 08

    Fraud, impersonation, and evidence manipulation

    You may not use De-Cypher to engage in fraud, deception, impersonation, or evidence manipulation.

    Prohibited conduct includes:

    • impersonating another person or entity without lawful authority;
    • fabricating, manipulating, or falsifying evidence, transcripts, recordings, reports, or analytical results;
    • misrepresenting the origin, accuracy, meaning, or evidentiary status of De-Cypher outputs;
    • using the Service to obtain money, property, credentials, confidential information, or another benefit through fraud or unlawful deception; or
    • using De-Cypher to facilitate identity theft or other unlawful misrepresentation.
  9. 09

    Security and technical abuse

    You may not interfere with, compromise, probe, or misuse the security or technical operation of De-Cypher.

    You may not:

    • introduce malware, malicious code, destructive content, or other harmful technology;
    • attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, databases, infrastructure, or information;
    • probe, scan, test, or exploit vulnerabilities without express written authorization;
    • interfere with or disrupt the availability, integrity, performance, or security of the Service;
    • bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, security controls, usage restrictions, rate limits, subscription limitations, or licensing controls; or
    • use another person’s credentials or permit unauthorized access through your account.
  10. 10

    Scraping, automation, reverse engineering, and competitive use

    Except where expressly authorized by Negative Mass LLC or where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law, you may not:

    • scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract Service data, outputs, interfaces, or content;
    • use bots, scripts, agents, automated systems, or other automated methods to access the Service in a manner not expressly authorized;
    • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover nonpublic source code, models, prompts, algorithms, methodologies, scoring systems, or security mechanisms;
    • use unauthorized extraction techniques to reproduce or approximate proprietary De-Cypher systems or functionality;
    • use the Service or its proprietary outputs to develop or train a substantially competing product through unauthorized extraction; or
    • circumvent technical measures intended to protect De-Cypher intellectual property or enforce subscription and usage limitations.
  11. 11

    Account, subscription, and commercial restrictions

    You must use your account and subscription only as authorized by the applicable subscription terms, account type, and commercial agreement.

    You may not:

    • share account credentials in violation of your subscription or licensing terms;
    • circumvent user, conversation, minute, feature, seat, rate, or other usage limits;
    • resell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, white-label, or commercially provide access to the Service except under an authorized commercial agreement;
    • misrepresent your account type, identity, organization, permissions, or authority; or
    • use multiple accounts or other methods to evade suspension, termination, billing, or usage restrictions.
  12. 12

    Teams and organizational use

    Organizations using De-Cypher for employees, contractors, representatives, customer-service agents, sales personnel, or other authorized users are responsible for their organizational use of the Service.

    Organizations must:

    • provide legally required notices to personnel and conversation participants;
    • obtain legally required consent for recording, transcription, monitoring, analysis, or organizational access;
    • establish appropriate internal policies governing administrator access to transcripts, analyses, reports, metrics, alerts, and account activity;
    • limit access to authorized personnel with a legitimate need for the information; and
    • use appropriate human review and independent supporting information for material decisions concerning individuals.

    Organizations may not use Teams functionality to conduct unlawful employee surveillance, unlawful discrimination, or covert monitoring prohibited by applicable law.

  13. 13

    Emergency, safety, law-enforcement, and investigative reliance

    De-Cypher is not an emergency service, crisis-response service, security service, law-enforcement service, or guaranteed real-time threat-monitoring system.

    You may not rely on De-Cypher as a substitute for emergency services, professional investigation, qualified legal advice, or independent safety procedures.

    A “risk,” “aggression,” “integrity,” “consistency,” or similar indicator must not be treated as proof of danger, criminal activity, guilt, deception, or legal responsibility.

  14. 14

    User content and rights of others

    You are responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, authority, and lawful bases necessary to provide User Content to De-Cypher.

    You may not submit or process User Content when doing so would unlawfully infringe or violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, publicity, intellectual-property, employment, contractual, or other rights.

    Uploading or processing information through De-Cypher does not create an attorney-client relationship, physician-patient relationship, privilege, fiduciary relationship, or other protected professional relationship with De-Cypher.

  15. 15

    Enforcement

    Negative Mass LLC may investigate suspected violations of this Policy and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, De-Cypher, or the integrity and security of the Service.

    Enforcement actions may include limiting functionality, restricting access, suspending or terminating accounts, preserving relevant information where legally permitted or required, and cooperating with lawful legal process.

    Where appropriate, De-Cypher may provide notice and an opportunity to remedy a violation. Nothing in this Policy requires De-Cypher to provide advance notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary or legally required.

  16. 16

    Reporting misuse

    If you believe the Service is being used in violation of this Policy, you may report the conduct to De-Cypher. Reports should include sufficient information for us to identify and evaluate the issue.

    Submitting a report does not guarantee a particular enforcement action or outcome.

  17. 17

    Changes to this Policy

    We may update this Policy as the Service, technology, or applicable law changes. The current version will identify its effective date.

    Material changes may be communicated through the Service, your account, email, or another reasonable method where appropriate or required by law.
